Head Coach
Girls Varsity Volleyball
Coach Stephanie is entering into her 3rd year as head coach for Sharon Tigers Volleyball. She is a 2019 Clarion University Alum and 2015 Ford City High School Alum. As the head coach, Stephanie has been able to change the program by clinching the programs first PIAA wins since 2013 and showing the Lady Tigers to be a threat by competing with well-known programs.
In high school, she played for the Ford City Sabers clinching a Section Title, WPIAL Championship, and state playoff birth. She was awarded first team all-section and first team all-state individual titles. While there, Stephanie served as her team captain as well.
Coach Stephanie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She currently works for the Midwestern-Intermediate Unit IV serving as a speech therapist for Early Intervention. Stephanie has two Aussiedoodle dogs, Asher and Emmitt, and resides in Sharpsville, PA with her husband, and assistant coach, Andrew Huska.
Her coaching philosophy is: “ I firmly believe that volleyball is a sport that requires a passion for teamwork and family-first mentality. Success is meant to be earned not given. The desire to win, to get better, and believe in each other is something that I push all my athletes to feel in all things that we do. I firmly believe an athletes character is essential to a successful team as well. Athletes are expected to hold the standard and be a well-rounded individual both on and off the court.
